In Short
We collect some personal information that you voluntarily provide us during sign-up. We use this information to make your experience seamless, including to communicate with you about upcoming events. Your profile will be visible to hosts and other members within the Tiny Dinner ecosystem.
We send occasional marketing emails and texts, and you can opt out anytime. We never sell or rent your data — everything stays within Tiny Dinner. You can request to delete your account or data whenever you like.
The Information We Collect
We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you sign up or log in:
- Name(s)
- Phone number
- Email address
- Birthdate
- Location
- Social media handles
- Other optional information (bio, dietary restrictions, photos)
We also collect product usage information automatically — things like which pages you visit, dinners you RSVP to, and how you interact with the site.

Text Messages
When you sign up for Tiny Dinner, you can opt in to receive SMS messages about dinner invitations, RSVP confirmations, event reminders, and membership announcements. Message frequency varies based on your activity, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
Mobile information (including phone numbers and opt-in consent) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who We Share Your Information With
When you RSVP to a dinner, we may share certain profile information with the host (such as your name, photo, dietary restrictions, and location) to help them plan and host the dinner.
We also share information with trusted service providers who help us run Tiny Dinner, including payment processors, cloud hosting and database providers, email and SMS delivery services, and product analytics tools. These providers only use your information to perform services for us.
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
How We Keep Your Data Safe
We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you and any required authorities as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After your membership ends, we may retain account activity, dinner history, and aggregated information for our records, analytics, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing team@tiny-dinner.com, subject to information we're required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Legal Stuff & Compliance
California residents: Under the CCPA and CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, request correction of inaccurate information, opt out of any sale or sharing of your information (we do not sell or share your information), and limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect or use sensitive personal information as defined under California law to infer characteristics about California residents. To exercise these rights, email team@tiny-dinner.com.
Children's privacy: Tiny Dinner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Tiny Dinner membership additionally requires you to be 21 or older — see our Terms.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If there are significant changes, we'll notify you via email or within the web app.
